Really? Velious was eq prime time, you don't think they could have 100 in tov on 2000-3000 man servers? How many do you think they have on p99 blue when they kill it? You can claim that vp was only done with 20-30 because nobody raided vp on live eq. Key wasn't soulbound and nobody did it. Velious was definitely a big boy expansion, vanco remembers it, everyone who was there remembers.

On Vallon live I remember doing Ntov with 80 while our competition (Xanit K'ven) was wiping to Cazic Thule with 130. They had bound their casters in fear so they could bind rush him. Good times. Also remember fighting over statue/AoW with another guild (was like 80 us vs 80 of them in Kael). Of course vallon was pvp so lower numbers than the blue servers likely.

Curious how many blue99 is doing Vyemm with. They have soulfires and such, and since he is designed to be done with 40? That's what I'm reading? They must be able to do him with 30?

Yeah, and this is especially true about the opening months of velious when everyone around, that's why I don't get Rogeans comment about 98. I mean if you had given us all the heal items the guilds over there expend every fight (because of recharging) we definitely could have beaten tov sooner, instead we did it in a way it was never done on any blue server in classic-without rechargeable item clicks. Recharging was classic until way past luclin. But that's how empire has to raid, with no recharging allowed because it doesn't work on red.

There's a good reason it doesn't work on red too-bladestoppers and such in pvp? Would be game breaking, even if it was allowed on classic pvp servers I vote in favor of not allowing it. That is the reason I think blue beat tov sooner.
