SZ was what, 83% evil team?

How is any of that harder than dealing with cross team healers 8 levels higher than you?

When the Zek's merged in '05, which guild came out on top?
Your reason for VZ and/or TZ being better is some bluebie cross faction healing shit?

cringed

I'll try to be more clear: my contention that the team servers produced superior players originates in the fact that they had to deal with a substantially more difficult situation than that which existed on Rallos and later Sullon.

In the case of Rallos, you had a smaller level gap and the ability to engage anyone, regardless of race/class. Adding item loot to the equation does not make it a more difficult environment PVP environment.

That said, it absolutely increases the risk of PVP engagements! But it could be argued that the real effect of this risk was an overall reduction in the amount of PVP. When there is a chance of real loss, people will surrender immediately and bag their gear, start spamming gate the second they get attacked, etc etc. Think of all of the steps people on Red99 take to avoid getting YT'ed now. Imagine if the risk of getting killed wasn't some announcement over global OOC but the loss of one of your items. Do you think there would be more or less PVP in that environment?

On Sullon, the vast majority of the server was on the evil team, thus limiting the possibility of PVP encounters.

On the team servers, players eight levels higher than you could engage you in PVP combat, and persons from your own "team," should they choose, could aid your enemies. While this is certainly not as much risk as a fight on Rallos, it is a far more challenging situation.

Do you understand now, pal?
