In my experience the GM's do care about the server- quite alot. They respond to virually all of these forum threads, answer petitions alot faster than on live, and deal with hackers and IT issues quickly. I think the "service" is alot better than when I played on live 10 years ago.
I think what the GM's really mean to say is that they won't put up with:
1) Hackers
2) Lazy, whiney, drama queens who act like they are paying $25/month for this server
3) Repeated anti social behavior, either in game or towards gm's
4) Serious intelligence problems because you can't fix stupid and it's not worth the aggravation.

So please behave like an adult and enjoy this rare chance at time travel back to 1999.

either play here or don't. the server is great because of the GMs, not in spite of them.
