When the final boss in act 3 goes into his blood rain phase, you need to go into the huge colorful circle that surrounds the boss, it blocks the blood rain DoT dmg.

4- Get one shot by Daresso on 3rd char. Fuck this game.

I don't know how you guys are doing hardcore act 4 (or why lol). Almost that whole act is rip city.

I haven't died yet but I'm also in warband league and haven't fought Malachai. Piety was annoying but not OP. Daresso was worse.

IMO they overdid the bosses in that act. Sooner or later they'll be nerfed. Malachai already was.

I'm actually not really enjoying act 4. Maybe it's because I'm used to acts 1-3 so they're familiar and comfortable. Act 4 feels tedious. Kaom's maps were especially tedious. I thought Lunaris Temple level 3 was bad (now level 2) but act 4 takes the tedium to a whole new level. I kinda can't wait to get this crap over with and get back to the fun maps in the next difficulty.

My favorite farming map in act 3 used to be Catacombs. It's higher level and easy to run. The waypoint to get to it used to be right next to it. Was a good place to find low level maps.

Be my POE Pal! Ketilron - I enjoy lvling up all classes in hardcore leagues (tempest) at one time, and just continuing to play the ones that don't die off. Like a king of the hill. He who stands last, continues!

I scored two blessed orbs within 15 minutes, I've never seen one before. So I asked about them and apparently they are super rare, one guy said he has been playing since release and only found one. I posted them for sell on the trade chat and people spammed hate tells and liar tells and all that good jazz, was quite amusing.

Then about half a hour later I found a awesome lvl 1 PL bow, gives +10 mana per kill, plus other goodies. Quickly made a ranger to test it out, spammed split arrow without ever using a mana pot until brutus.

Had a pretty good run this morning.

You should be moving into act 2 soon, the game follows the roots of Diablo 2, there will be quests that are extremely important (skill points and main quest line) and some that you just do when you need to (reset skill points and gear). Once you get the quests and areas figured out, you will progress a lot quicker.

My first time playing I spent an enormous amount of time in act 2 because I had so many options and was very unsure of what to do next.

Here is a link to one of LiftingNerd's youtube playlist for leveling guides. He has an enormous collection of PoE video's and imo he is a great youtuber. I asked if he could redo some of his older level builds for the expansion and the very next day the guy posted up three new leveling builds for the expansion.

Tempest is fucking RIP city, I'm telling you.

We like to play the RIP game corrupting items in chat too. That's more for the regular HC league where everyone is bored and has too much of everything.

To me tempest is the only way to play, just like i cant see myself playing on blue. More excitement, more reward. Better economy on tempest/HC. Wish i could gauge better act4 though. Daresso was a breeze on my templar so i was careful on my dual totem marauder but not excessively, didnt expect to get one-shotted. Didnt help to make me wary that we just plowed through everything in the arena up to him and i was about 8 levels higher than everyone in my group.

Starting a new toon now lol

After toying around with my ranger I decided to finish act 4, and my god did they overdo themselves with some of the things in it. Malachai took me around 16 minutes to beat, nearly died about a dozen times, literally I would zone in, throw down totems, pop flammability, pop quicksilver flask, run around like crazy till potions were all down, then redo it all.

After beating him, I zoned into cruel, thinking hmmm a zombie, wtf can you do to me after what I just been through..
