From an enchanters pov:

The combination of skel + shrink and good positioning is all you have for survivabilty. You don't have shadow step you don't have DAs. Once someone is training you down, there is little you can do except pull them away and sit them down w a rapture and get lost in the mass again. Your defense is not being seen.

That being said an army of skeletons is one of the most unimerssive things about mass pvp on this server

I will add to this. Because of the fact that an Enchanter doesn't achieve it's effectiveness through damage and we have a limited mana pool, how effective we are doesn't derive from being in the battle field at all times, but instead we can selectively enter and still be ridiculously effective.

It's a naturally evasive playstyle.

With that being said, necros still have skel illusion x 2 DA's and Yonder, drains and taps.
