unfortunately for music in the last 15 years, it is not the greats who will be remembered, it is the popular. Is Justin Beibler an artist? no. will he be remembered forever as a defining character of this generation? Yes. its sad; really fucking sad. the true artists have no recognition, and will likely die with having only being heard by those who seek great music rather than passively listen.
Who are they? Explosions in the Sky Thrice Tool (will be remembered) RATM Sublime Odesza (amazing music) Kendrick Lamar Third Eye Blind and certainly a few others who truly create good music, not simply produce hits. | ||
