I'm full immersion mode.
I usually strip naked to simulate my character being naked. Then I run in place 20 seconds to get hungry and thirsty. Once I loot my corpse I put my clothes back on then I chug a Mt. Dew and eat some cheetos so i'm not hungry and thirsty any more.
