Lol once again you take out all variables and make broad overarching statements. Nice! So guy who makes 200,000 dollars buys house worth 800,000 dollars with a LTV of 75% loses job during recession and house is now worth 475,000 dollars.

So its his fault he was laid off during the second worst economic crises and its his fault he lives in so cal and cannot find another job? Once again you fail to understand the gravity of the situation or you are just a racist troll.
So your claiming that if the market goes to shit, and you lose your job, your therefore free to let your house go into foreclosure and say fuck the bank?

FUCK YOU.

PAY FOR WHAT YOU FUCKING BUY, BITCH. OR ELSE GTFO.

If you have nothing, then why did you buy an 800,000 dollar house?

Learn to manage money and make informed decisions.

Maybe, in the future, the government will send you bigger welfare check so you can keep it.

FUCKING BADDIE.

The bank has collateral. If they aren't ready to take over the house in case of default, they shouldn't be in the business. And the bank shouldn't have loosened their standards for extending credit. There's culpability on both sides.

Hell, my bank bent over backwards to get me into my current house. I had a decent sized personal loan with a family member that was going to extend for a year or so after I bought the house. Since it wasn't "on the books" per se, the bank ignored it. They looked at my income level and couldn't get a deal done quickly enough.

Do you have a mortgage, Private Pyle? Why? Why did you buy a house you couldn't afford to pay for in cash? Why did you need someone else's help to get you that house?

These are rhetorical questions by the way. Lord knows I do enjoy your generalizations, so keep pumping them out!

Without attacking you or starting a arguement since i would like to stay neutral. Please answer this question.

Say.. tomarrow your GF/Wife/Finace is sleeping with another guy and you get a phone call. How are you now paying for said 220k house? I really curious to see how you would get out of some financial situations.

Well, her name is on the house. If anything went wrong, I would just move out into an apartment, and we would split the belongings as we already have planned. We buy things off/on. I buy a tv, she buys a couch, etc. This way if anything happens, the breakup would be painless. She would have a hell of a time paying full rent, but she makes really good money, so she could manage that.

After we are married, we plan to use my VA Loan for our upgraded house. This will happen when I'm done with school and well into my career. Then the new house will be in my name, so I can get the reduced interest rate, and I will make her my stay at home housewife.

Really not that hard. In one year we made enough to almost buy the house outright. Of course we didn't put that much into it, but ... in any situation we could afford this home. We could have went bigger, but that would have been a mistake. Don't bite off more than you can chew.

We are both really good planners.

Plus, she's a young doctor....

OK i may have read wrong. I "thought" you were bragging about your 220k house. So you are indeed bragging about your "girlfriends" 220k house. Do you own the tv, laptop.. or is that hers to.

Sounds like you have a sugar momma.... shes like your welfare check..

It is our house. I didn't put my name on it because I'm saving my credit for the VA loan, which is SUPER low interest. You probably have no idea how that loan works, or what it even is, because your bad at life. I'm not going to take the time to explain it to you, either. I already explained, in a previous post, what we plan to do with that loan.

I don't see where your coming from. We both pay equally in the bills. My house > your apartment.

Questions?
