I'll summarize. "If you were laid off in the past two years it is because you're lazy and stupid. You want to be unemployed so you spend your days drinking champagne and eating lobster. Go die you ass because you are part of my deluded world view."

Working in IT for all my adult life I have been through enough down turns and restructurings to know the the mythical laid off person who wants to be unemployed is a F******g lie made up by selfish uncaring assholes. Unemployment is not enough to feed a family but it is enough to pay for the cost of finding a job.

I have a friend who was out for two years. He did not drive WAMU into bankruptcy or let it get bought out by Chase. He just happened to be on the receiving end of that cluster fuck. The unemployment in his area is higher than average so he retained during that time to be more marketable. The vast majority of people I know who have been out of work fit into this bucket and none of them fit into your type B.
