Lovely is a good pick. Guy is prolly biggest winner ever on r99. Cheated his way to level 50, one shot people like Chuck & Cast, slayed Nagafen and created the top guild, then destroyed 2 backpacks full of Manastones before quitting. all of this with less than 2 months invested.

Shits fucking hilarious.

I leveled up several chars, and on the first 2 I absolutely got wrecked by people that had a numbers / gear / level / position / experience advantage.

Now I have some 60's and decent gear, and people complain?

You got my sympathy fuckers [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
Ssssshhhhhh you can't say that around here

Notice how everyone on the Red99 boards totally dismisses any post and/or thread that states numbers>levels>gear>skill in EverQuest PVP?

This is a great number 1 draft pick for Everquest PvP emulator.

probably because the only people who believe in that logic are people who lose every fight unless they fight some noob in cloth.

when you rape someone who has a gear advantage simply because you played better, that train of thought goes straight out the window.

I will give the official list of best players on Red99 in order as a player who has played since the beginning and has the knowledge to answer this.

1) Lovely
2) Nizzar
3) Gongshow
4) Colgate
5) Tune (should be higher maybe)
6) Lite

This is rated based on overall impact on the server and how easily they accomplished it rather than skills or abilities.

When you become a pro like myself, everyone just looks the same and I can't really tell a difference between the top players just that they know how to play their respective classes.

Honorable mention for the sickest crew I've ever seen in a video game to date.

-Ender, Rallyd, Battle, Hector, Deka, and the rest of the Nihi neckbeard crew.

Most skilled EverQuest player and most skilled Red99 player are different things in my opinion. Red99 is a game that is as much politics and mental game than strict EverQuest playing.

I think hands down it has to be Cwall for best Red99 player. He won ForumQuest for over a year while NOT playing, then attended a GM event on a level 1 and got an AoN. Then traded AoN for a 59th iksar monk with tstaff. Then was a thorn in the side of the empire for a year while winning the BoTB against the leader of the empire. Then took over and led the new empire as the best expansion of EverQuest is being released positioning himself to win the only expansion that ultimately matters.

HB gets honorable mention and need be considered as one of the better Red99 players. His career has had him in the middle of some, if not all, of the best drama and he has always been a member of the guild that winning the server at different times.

Lovely is hard to refute except destroying 2 backpacks of manastones is only slightly less impressive than if he'd RMT'd them on his stream instead.

If Red99 is the House of Cards of EverQuest. HB might be Frank Underwood. I think he might get my vote as runnerup to Cwall whose career is truly brilliant.

How you define overall skill changes the answer. I do not care about pvp, but if I had to pick one person it would probably be Riley. He has every single class except rogue 50+ and more 60s than me.
I could beat him as a shaman and probably necro, but no other class.

For a single class, I doubt anyone could match me as a shaman simply because I've played one more than likely anyone, but I have no experience in pvp and won't anytime soon.

The best pvper I have seen was probably Beck at his deadliest. He didn't have the gear others got but still killed the shit out of everyone. I remember him chasing Nihilum members out of OoT regularly, along with anyone else. Pound for pound, or whatever the EQ equivalent is, Beck was the best I saw.
Others were very good, but they had/have much better gear.
