Guess you've not seen ShowEQ working then. My mate had a linux box running it on live, and if you stayed in the zone long enough for spawns to cycle a few times, it would give you a countdown timer.

A quick search shows this thread from 2002 :-

yeah but raid mobs are on a variance so this doesn't apply.

If you can't get the spawn times for the variance mobs why were at least 8 accounts banned a few months back? It seems pretty suspicious to me. Show EQ might not work but it is a old program. The sad fact is if it is possible to cheat then someone will be doing it. I think that guild leaders should be ultimately responsible for using information gotten through shady means not just banning a few accounts.

ShowEQ only shows timers on mobs that consistently spawn at the same time. Something Naggy doesn't do. I'd probably know what I'm talking about.

My post was for the edumacation of Pico and Kassel, who said that ShowEQ only showed when mobs were up and not when they were going to pop.
