I think you're under the misconception that class C cares about maestro. You probably saw a few people who have never even played monks or pulled maestro, get killed while on their friends alts. This is how it was a year ago at least.

Uhm. I'm sure it matters to the people that track it and wants to kill it. However we do not reward DKP for Maestro in TMO. The mob is voluntary and usually consists of people wanting to sell it or get it for their warrior. This usually means it consists of people who aren't the usual raid leaders/pullers of our guild. It also consists of people who probably don't have a lot of experience on the classes they are playing.
