I honestly know this feel. I mean I sorta liked gold n silver too, but the majority of the new ones I am not a fan of. As in like Emerald, and on. It's kinda like EQ. A lot of people like all the expansions, and new EQ stuff. I personally kinda hate it. Not a fan of EQ past Luclin; hence playing here.

the difference is that the quality of EQ expansions went dramatically down compared to the original offering, while the quality of Pokemon games went dramatically up. There's honestly no comparison; you're just explaining why you refuse to try the better new games.
