Prove it.

The issue is is that the guilds get bigger and -less- people get loot. The loot keeps going to inner-circle players and there's a constant stream of apps and guild scrubs that come and go and never get dick for loot. Its funny because really these are the people that fill out the numbers in order to make it possible, and they are the ones being exploited.

Again, Wal*Mart

Is this supposed to be about BDA? Because it's not accurate at all and in fact it's really funny that someone who's not in our guild is speaking so authoritatively on what it's like to be in our guild and is so far from being correct.

I can tell you the one, single, solitary piece of loot each of our officers has gotten (if any) in the last two years, because it's that easy to keep track of because it's so rare that one of our officers still has an upgrade that they need to make (it's almost always one of the big epic pieces- Inny eye, bard guts, etc.) Chest hasn't gotten a single thing that I can think of. Alts get rots. There is no "inner circle" unless you're talking about "people who raid the most" and yes, as a matter of fact, people who raid the most do get more loot for a while, because they earned it, and then they plateau and don't get any loot for a long fucking time because they don't need it.

Its not BDA in particular - the whole problem with the idea behind poopsocking and zerging is the trajectory - pretty soon its just gonna be one big guild again at this rate. Either that or like Red where its just 2 guilds just because they have to roll deep for self defended. Either way its fucking stupid.

I wonder when velious comes out if 20-25 people will still be called a Zerg guild.. On live months and months after velious zerg was 60+, I was in one of them.

No, it is the guilds responsibility to not invite too many members that they don't need.
The it would also be a guild's responsibility to invite enough members to engage a mob under race circumstances?

I would say 10% of server pop at any given time is a "zerg" guild - this magic number 20-25 keeps coming up somehow

On the last VS attempt Asgard attempted the idea of logging in as the mob spawns. BDA had a ton of people already logged in ready to go as soon as someone yelled into their mic. By the time we were logged in and ran over VS had been engaged.

So the idea of not having to poop sock against a Zerg guild is absurd.
BDA had maybe 10 people logged in at KC (about the same number as the Asgard loitering there, actually) when VS popped. After pop was announced through vent/text, the others logged in.

The number of people logged in was meaningless though, because the trackers/FTErs we had were more prepared then Asgard's. BDA could have had just their 2 trackers and 2 FTErs logged in and still won when Asgard is just tracking with an FD shadowknight.

Long story short, as long as mobs have 32k hitpoints fights are gonna be short. And stupid.

Tougher mobs - longer encounters - more resources tied up in that encounter - more mobs for everyone.
