not sure if this is going to make it or not but a way to keep from losing your items in the trade bug is to be aware that it exist..... if you are in the situation where you cannot close the trade box know that you are going to lose your stuff if you keep hitting esc and clicking cancel... iv been in the situation several times and have lost money and items (no biggie) the best way to resolve the issue is that the player who initiated the trade needs to just walk away from the person he is trading with this will automatically end the trad as you get to far for it to happen. every time after i realized what was going on i have done this and i have never lost the money or items i was trading. Just a way to avoid the loss of your property. hopefully this will be left up to read as it will save a bunch of headaches till rogan can figure out what is going on.

Buyer - Galadorn
Seller (me) Thurgrum Location: Freeport Bank 1.) I initiated a trade by dropping a piece of armor on the buyer 2.) I placed a total of 5 pieces in the trade window 3.) Buyer placed 60pp in the trade window as I was adding armor pieces 4.) Buyer cancelled trade window POOF 60pp gone. We restarted the trade and all went smoothly the second time (no one attempted to cancel the trade). Hope this helps.

Buyer - Satsui
Seller - Jify 3rd person: Icoa I put 50plat in trade window with jify to buy a platinum armband. Then Icoa put money in trade window to buy the armband. This made it so my trade window wouldn't close and recognized Icoa as the other party to trade with Jify instead of telling Icoa that Jify was busy. I couldn't clear the trade window without zoning/relogging. When I did, the 50plat was gone. There's another situation plat disappears

Belmont Jete Belmont is opening his spell book and looking at spells. Jete offers a trade and it goes through for 150pp I click cancel to get it to go away, but it doesnt and I have to camp out to clear trade window. (no distance I can travel will remove the trade window away from the opener of the window) Jete loses 150pp. | ||
