They took a guy who had his hands up with 5 people and choked him to death. Jesus fuck Sidelle it isn't that hard. NYPD are some of the most dangerous people on the planet.

Yes, I'm aware of the man being wrongfully choked to death. I think the cops should have been charged. My question to the other guy was more about the actual laws in NY, but thanks for the reply anyway.

Yeah. Sorry. The whole police brutality thing is just a bit much for me. Had a friend shot in the head for having the audacity to have a cell phone in his hand and walk to subway. He survived somehow but doesn't walk quite right and isn't all there mentally anymore.

Sorry if this comes off as crass, but this sounds like the people who were saying "Trayvon Martin was shot for having the audacity to wear a hoodie and buy some skittles." My guess is that there is more to the story. Either that, or there is now a person in jail for attempted murder.

Nah. He was just going to visit his girlfriend at the subway. Was a city cop who got transferred to our small town. He only lasted about a month in our town before he shot that guy, then I believe he got transferred out. Don't think he works as a cop anymore.

So you're saying he was just walking down the street with a cell phone in his hand and the cop decided to shoot him? There's more to this story. Either the cop is in jail or he had a story for justifying the shooting. What would the cop say was the reason for the shooting?

Where as you'd think someone with 31 prior arrests would know how to behave when being detained by the police.
