Quest Issue: Faction hits - We know

I think Brother Hayle (splitpaw) may be broken.

I did the first note turnin at warmly faction to brother hayle for the soulfire quest. I then attempted to hand in the remaining 4 items for soulfire but he hands them back to me without interaction.

I then went to qeynos and spent hours handing in 2gp at a time to Lashun Novashine until I had handed in 2500gp.

I went back and researched through the Allahkazam posts and players had mentioned that it took 1800 gp for them to get to Apprehensive > Ally.

I've spent well over this amount and haven't even gotten to the high side of warmly from what I can tell.

I've also asked other paladins on the server and they have done the turnin on warmly faction.

Can this be looked into please? It may be as simple as respawning a new Brother Hayle...

I can confirm that right now nothing you can do will increase Temple of Life faction. I tried prayer beads, donating 2 gold, bonechips... I got the experience message and quest rewards, just not the faction increases. I could imagine people having problems completing Aegis of Life quest, as well.

This was not the answer, I had someone kill him off and the newly spawned version wouldn't take the items or reply to text either.

My best guess is what Argentate stated.

I attempted to give Lashun gold pieces as well as bone chips, he accepted both and gave me the heal, but no faction hits.

Also something of note is the putrid skeletons in South Karana do indeed give the faction message for PriestofLife increasing, but the entire time I camped Lord Grimrot (20ish hours, five faction hits every 7 minutes) my faction didn't budge from Amiable. Granted these are low level greens, so their faction hit probably isn't intended to be all that large.
