Shit, RMT is almost classic. They put up a fucking server where you could sell your items and characters legitimately through the Sony marketplace in the PoP era. The only way it ruins the community is when scummy shit happens like people trying to scam.
If I start seeing chinese gold farmers pop up I might change my mind. But one dude selling another dude a fungus aint doin' shit to ruin this server. There is a list a mile long of shit doing far more damage.
And lets say for a moment what you've said about raid drops being RMT'd is true. That is because Azrael is a shitty run guild. Even if Niz had wanted to sell a crown or robe to someone it never would have happened. He was one of several people making loot decisions and everyone had visibility into what people had looted, their raid attendance and how much DKP they had. Maybe you get away with that once, but when you're guild is founded on and thrives on items if you fuck with that people would have bailed.

ive posted multiple times small scale rmt is no big deal to me, its when you spend 30+ peoples time to raid then rmt raid level loots i have the problem with.
Nizzar didnt sell stuff like pd robes crowns of rile. he used a different method. all the extra's he would sell for blue plat and sell it that way. I have footage of nizzar talking about how he has like 50 paladin bp's from trak in the bank. i understand all that stuff was banned but the fact is he had it and he was selling things piece by piece of over accumulated items from the guild. He didnt work alone rallyd and a few others they all have a business. they arent rich its just enough to pay rent food and utilities so they can live to game. problem is it kills the casual population to have people like this.
