I can speak on behalf of chanter/cleric duo and why this is a better duo than warrior/cleric, for example.

Enchanter/Cleric
- I charm a dark blue pet, weaponize and haste it. Thing is going to out dps almost any comparable toon my level and have a ton of HP to boot.
- I walk into a room with 5 spawns, pacify and single pull one of them
- I slow the mob we're fighting, my pet destroys it because math
- Cleric complete heals my pet whenever necessary and has no mana issue because of my mana regen buff. If my pet dies, oh well.. get a new one, it happens.. if it's about to die, I break it and nuke it down for more exp anyway.
- We get 3 adds from a train, I mez all 3 and we're still safe. Keep them CC'd while we burn them down one after the other.

Warrior/Cleric
- Cleric can still pacify for single pulls, most will tell you it's crit resist heaven.. chanters stack up charisma as a primary stat so they don't have as much of an issue with this
- No slow + no haste + no mana buff = cleric mana issues from having to heal way more
- No haste = potential 70% increase of attack speed is missing in this duo (equate more dps to shorter fights, less down-time)
- If adds, root is only option. Cleric has to cc and heal while other class can only dps/taunt and continue to take damage, no utility
- If train, likely wiping or ending up fight nearly OOM.. no oh-shit protection plan in this duo

Also.. War or Monk/Chanter/Cleric = Super powerful trio. Can definitely get a lot done.
