How? I only know of SHM soloing him during velious, later on it was easy due to the 32k hp charmeable turtle, but that was way after velious.

How would a wizard solo him? Can you lay out the strats?

Perhaps a BiS druid or ench could do it, no way for wiz with summon kiting.

A 5k mana wiz can cast 11 sunstrikes, lets make it 12 with some regen added. Thats still over 13k damage short, and this is chain casting the most efficient spell?

ps. I remember having to malo it, then having to stick malosini, in order to keep up slow. Would guesstimate 50% resists after Malosini. Camped that fucker a lot [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
Wizard was a mistake, I was drinking rum. Enchanter is what I meant. And yes Malo + Malosini helps greatly with landing slow. Tash stick even better. Lodi is not an easy solo but with Torpor+Spot heals you should live long enough to land it. Once slowed hes easy. Just have dog dog beating his ass and try to keep epic up.

P.S. It was a long time ago so I guess I was mistaken. I thought the little turtle buddy was there at launch which would allow charmers to kill him.
