I requested an exemption on 10/9 and still haven't gotten the exemption yet. This is good news for you! It means the maximum amount of time you'll have to wait is another 4 days (based on the 2 week timeline which I've heard quoted here and elsewhere).

Of course if you (and I) get lucky, it will process sooner.
