1v1 against a bard takes forever unless you're in a dungeon.

bards on this server are way more powerful than they were in classic

Vs casters: spam cast 59 denons poison stun dot or highsun while beating on them. Transition to 55 stun then dirge to finish.
Vs melees: twist any ds psalm song, mcxavius haste/ds song, and regen while jousting. With buffs and bard song can get over 100 dmg per hit.

Bard with epic is gg, without epic your options are far more limited and you'll do 1/5 the dmg at best tbh. Dot kiting works but overrated because normally they can just run away/zone.

QFT but Colgate is totally correct as well, in this era nothing a Bard had landed on high resist target Bards were pretty awful in pvp during kunark, got better in Vellius do to OOS.

In PoP they were one of the most dreaded classes in EQ poison/disease chant ran anybody out of a zone. A smart wizard always had the tools to jack a bard but most died to bards.
