This game meridian59 is the first online game with 3D (2d) grafic (MMORPG) at all. Before it had been like this: typing open the door and go right without any real grafic.
Meridian59 got bought back by the 2 brother who made the original game (server 101).
Phil was the leadprogrammer who quitted after this Ghostwalkerscandal. No one told this to me and my friends when we started to play there. We had just to wait for weeks and months getting questbugs solved because Phil stopped. It's part of the history of online games. Compared with EQ 1999 its much harder in pvp. You drop all inventory to the ground when you die. You loose a hitpoints or more and one percents of every skill.
For some more other reason the meridianserver 101 is like empty today. Some guys made a new server named 103.
