I like Derubael quite a bit this isn't a knock against him at all. He is a guide, he doesn't have the oversight of the server or manage its direction. Derubael is a perfect overseer for the community and his willingness to be ironfisted is well noted and needed.

I started this server last year, no friends on here at start, started from scratch with nothing. Played the hardest class with hybrid exp penalty, and it was when server pop barely broke 130. I managed to level to 60 and get epics and in to VP without ever joining Nihilum prior to those things. I survived Mrbigs killing me in Unrest. Knights Templar in Unrest/DC/MM. I managed all the thuggery in City of Mist, KC, DL. I managed to get VP keyed while dodging Nihilum, i dealt with being treated like a 3rd class citizen by the "resistance" I had a 37 win 98 loss pvp record and was corpse and bind camped. I managed to survive just fine without issue and continue to play.

Anyone who isnt willing to take that path, isnt going to be someone you'd want to have around anyways. PVP servers have consistently been less populated then Blue servers. Players would rather deal with the absurdly slow blue exp rate then have to spend time doing CR's and more then auto attack.
