Will Velious have an effect on weapon values?

Itemization wasn't out of control until SoF came out. It was that expansion where people raiding 70-75 content became extinct since the 80 group stuff was far easier and better stats.

It was something like a 60% increase of stats on group gear.

PoP stuff was very well balanced and there was value in Luclin gear and some Velious stuff. Specific Velious stuff was best in slot until PoTime (mainly Dozekar loot, and some stuff like AoW ring and Vulak stuff).

To the OP... Weapons aren't really that expensive here. I mean you have your EoN and sebilite dagger... But mostly everything in 5k or less. And most of the upgrades come from Raid mobs not group content.

As a rogue, get your Ragebringer and some okay offhand. I wouldn't spend 60k on an EoN if I were you. Something like a Jagged Sword or CSS would suit you fine for any group.
