Unfortunately, it appears this won't work on the beta server because the Banker is used for the beta buff utility. I will move it to another npc for the next patch.

Fixed, next patch. The Velious Teleports and Bind npc will also summon items. His hail text will give instructions.

I can't seem to get Mt. Death Mineral Salts from the gnome. Was it added? The gnome does not mention it in his list, so I tried a bunch of permutations of the item name and none of them worked.

No, it wasn't added to the summoner. I figured this would be in game by now and available to copy over. In the meantime, I sold a lot to the thurgadin gnomes, nro gnomes, and all the merchants inside the thurgadin bank.
