Think whatever you want about it being a gateway drug, but you can't make an empirical claim (e.g. it kills brain cells) based on phony science that's been debunked time after time.
Neither of those studies shows any conclusive evidence that pot smoke does not cause brain dmg. How can you form an actual experiment with only 2 test subjects such as the 2nd test did. It also showed that there was something different in the brain wave patterns in the monkey exposed to pot smoke while in the one that was not showed no effects.
"Exposure to marihuana produces substantial changes in
acute brain electrophysiology but does not appear to produce
persistent functional pathology."
This is from the 2nd link you posted showing that yes indeed pot does effect the brain. The 1st link you posted does not even speak about the effects of pot smoke on the brain at all it just makes conclusions as to general health and at least that one did study more than 2 monkeys.
Yes the 2nd article says that the previous evidence is not supported in their study but their study does seem to be a bit shady if not down right messed up in only using 2 test subjects and not actully doing autopsies on the brains of the monkeys to see if their was actual dmg or not.
Seems like your evidence is not truly supportive of pot smoke not causing brain dmg
Please try to bring better evidence to the table so far mine has stood up and shown that it does cause brain dmg. ture it was done on a scale that it may have been caused by something else(the breathing issue) but the ones you bring forth are actully not even close to proving that it does not
