Red should be the wild west. Settle your differences any way you can outside of hacking. Game wasn't made for pvp so I say exploit the mechanics it levels the field. Add item loot and allow things like charming and mob/xp deaths and this server would be worth playing on. If you play EQ PVP to level up and get pixels you are doing it wrong. It is about the journey the fear and adrenaline rush from the uncertainty.

I remember on live just zoning was enough to make you crap your pants because once you zoned in (5 mins later) you could have been rooted or trained blind feared charmed or anything or even dead. Shit was hardcore and fun. The constant influx of noobs was awesome. People would get griefed and call in reinforcements, people banded together to kill kin slayers or run off corpse/zone campers. People would put out bounties on people. I recall many epic battles at the Nek/EC zone line. You would zone in and wizards and mages would be dropping roots and rains/aoe on people til someone ported in and ran them off. That was the stuff that was fun to me. The griefers made the server fun. They caused you to engage in pvp to advance your character. They created community with anti-pk guilds (haha) and noob protectors.

Is that what red is like? Just curious I have made toons there that are insignificant but the pop was low at the time and the forums make the rule set there seem not all that fun so I have not logged on there in a long time.
