Class R is how it is due to guild's catering to a more casual player base while utilizing their more hardcore members. The primary difference between an R guild and a C guild is that C structures everything around the most dedicated members and while other guildies are welcome to be as casual as they like, they aren't rewarded for it. R throws rewards to everyone regardless of their effort and then retains members by vilifying the class C guilds so people are scared to move on to greener pastures. I'm sure people will say that class C is just a bunch of unemployed slobs who play EQ 24/7, and while there are those like that, they are just as common in R and they certainly don't make up the majority of either class. All it comes down to is the way the guild is managed. | |||
