This is exactly why my original response was what it was. I knew you were going to pull this fucking bullshit. Easiest deflection on the goddamn planet- "you don't know because you haven't been here since the beginning." Fuck that. I've been on this server, paying attention, watching and listening and reading these boards for almost a year and a half. I wasn't in the raid scene, but I talked to people every day who were.

I thought you were less full of shit than this, Dolic, I really did. You've always been a pretty sensible, non-trolly, non-spinny guy, but this is a sad, weak fucking troll you're trying to pull.
I am not deflecting. Some of what you have been saying is from experience. However the portions that regard our intentions for "monopolizing content that we don't need" is precisely the type of stuff that Chest preaches so much.

Sure, guys like Tiggles has a good time playing on those accusations. I just simply don't understand why it is so hard for other guilds not to understand that EQ is designed in such a way that loot tables have awesome rare items but shitty common items. Therefore it takes years to get what you want. And to sustain a guild, it requires fresh bodies. As a result, it is pretty much impossible for a guild to have everything it needs from all the mobs.

Then throw in the fact that you have Chardok AE creating hundreds of level 60 alts, there simply is no end. Moreover, some of us play this game specifically to raid. With 16ish "raid mobs" available to us per week; what purpose is there for us if we can't raid.

Anyways, I am not saying you don't know since you weren't here or whatever. I wasn't here from the beginning either. I've been around for 2 years, although i got to level 40 and quit pre-kunark. The point is, you should sort of limit your accusations to what you know first hand. Its not like Chest/hatelore doesn't recite our history of wrongs enough already and on a daily basis.

I think what he was trying to say is that his rate of leveling is consistent with the norm, that he has been here playing actively, and that while not 60 he is about to be; and that, had TMO not cockblocked poor BDA so long, then he would be higher on the list for trak guts.

In short: BDA wants TMO to pay here because they believe it will

1. reverse the negative effects caused by years of discrimination
2. make sure minorities are represented in the epic count.
3. create an equal opportunity for everyone by helping those individuals with a disadvantage.
4. TMO continues to deny opportunities to minorities and women to this day
5. Epic diversity creates a better server environment

Lol Fixed.

Why TMO should be punished:

1. reverse the negative effects caused by years of discrimination
2. make sure casuals are represented in the epic count.
3. create an equal opportunity for everyone by helping those individuals with a disadvantage.
4. TMO continues to deny opportunities to casuals to this day
5. Epic diversity creates a better server environment

You keep assuming I speak only for myself here. I've been talking to people since I was level 1 who have the same complaints that I'm voicing. This isn't even about epics. This is about the like 80% of this server who had never gotten to be part of, as one example, a Trak kill, because you guys were eating EVERYTHING. People want to PLAY THIS FUCKING GAME. You guys turn everything into a conversation about loot. This isn't about loot. This is about people wanting to play a game and your guild not letting them.

Are you serious ? TMO or any raid guild has never stopped anyone from "Playing this game". The biggest problem for a long time was the long variance windows and most guilds not having people willing to track through those windows. TMO simply had the members willing to do it. The raid scene has some drama yes. 95% of the time (probably more) these kills happen drama free with no problems between competing guilds. I mean it was always easy to find the timers for these mobs to spawn and be there to track their windows. Saying a guild was blocking something because they were willing to put in time required to be ready to kill the mobs first is just insane.

Furthermore the windows now are 16 hours with most mobs spawning in a 2 day span. You as an individual of the guild on most of the mobs outside of VP just need to spend 2 hours tracking as long as everyone in the guild is willing to put in just 2 hours on the spawns. If your guild as a whole isn't willing to put in 2 hours to track a mob per individual you can't really blame a guild for killing the mobs you don't want to put effort towards. I mean wtf ?? People willing to put in effort kills more than us ?? They must be EVIL!!!!

I suppose all we really have to do is show up and get trained for uncontested kills.

Or you could be less dense and be a little competent and get your own.
