I spent some time researching it trying to figure it out based on my remembrance, my best guess is I have a very large Y chromosome, or 'broken' Y chromosome. From my recollection. It's not a common issue. And most people live their lives without any complications or need for medical treatment. And I could as well. TBH I don't have to have anything fixed in order to simply survive. Just in order to live a fulfilling life worth living.
My psychological condition is probably not related to the issue. If anything it was only causal in that my developmental delays caused some of the abuse and self worth issues early in my childhood that contributed to my rejection of my male body.
Why do you say it's autoimmune? Because from what the doctor told me my body produced it fine, my body just didn't uptake testosterone, due either to other hormones or something else. Or it got absorbed quickly out of my blood.
TBH he wasn't sure either, but we didn't have the time or money, (nor did my dad care much) to take me back for further study. So I was left on my own at that point to cope with it.
