Sam began his guild Vae Victus and made a point of buffing, PL'ing and just generally being a cool pal to new players. Maybe 1 or 2 new faces a week who otherwise would have quit after a few hours sat alone killing bats thinking "this server sucks".

Sounds right. pop was between 15 - 30 when i read samwise VV post. logged in and started lvling with people like lite and brennard. Then i ended up in red dawn, plug, full retard.
