Asking 50pp for a SoW is being a jerk, I call it like I see it. He was being a jerk saying 50pp and he knew it, he just got pissed off I said it vs just thinking it.

He escalated it, I just continued down the path he wanted to go. I realize that after that initial I am just as in the wrong as he. I'm not looking for someone to take my side, just pointing out...

He probably said 50pp because he was annoyed to begin with and didn't want to give you a sow. If he said no instead, you still would have had the same conversation with him. Starting a RnF thread over such a petty issue, pallease. I sow people all the time for free, most of the time just as I'm running by without them asking and not expecting anything in return, and I still think you were more in the wrong.

It's nice that you have declared yourself the arbiter of what the appropriate price for SoW is. Makes it a lot easier to act offended when you've already decided you know how much the other person values their time/mana.

If dude was in the land of plentiful sow pots, then you'd have a point. As I understand it, he was out in the middle of nowhere with very few people willing to spend their time sow'ing him.

Nobody would agree that 50pp, or anywhere near it, is fair for a SoW. I'm surprised people charge for sow at all, seems shitty.

Yup, I mean its only 40m. Its not like its a port that removes you from the zone and is a hastle.
