I played a Nec during Velious. There was no huge demand for necros, and really lousy guilds tried to use them as mana batteries instead of having them kill the raid boss faster.

If you splurt and twitch you're making your twitch:CH ratio even worse. Might as well just let the necro dot and nuke.

Infusion is 1000 mana on a ten minute timer. Congrats, you get 2/3 of a CH every ten minutes. Over a 20 minute fight that's a whopping 1 additional CH. Not worth it.

Twitch bad, more clerics good, nukes/dots good. Make platinum, fuck wood elves.

you wouldn't get 2/3 of one ch from 1k mana. ch = 350 mana, so you're looking at almost 3 casts just from that one twitch.

Necro gets 1000 mana. Costs 400 mana to give 150 to cleric.

Ah yes, the Necro Death Squad on Tarrew Marr. They were why Necros got nerfed in a ton of subsequent patches. They lasted about 90 days.

I would assume he would of said tap then. I was waiting for him to say the skelly illusion nuke to confirm hes never heard a teamspeak when a necro "nukes" a dragon and his hitbox goes from a bus to a shoebox
