Exactly, however I can only come up with the link from current ZAM (alla)
as help. Here "A Cyclops" list various research and Fire Opal, plus one post about getting a Star Ruby.

The old Alla link from library don't show "A Cyclops" at all

I am just convinced that I have gotten gems from them on live, as I prolly camped jboots on live at that spot for prolly 10 or more of my own twinks and helped other people, and they did drop gems, but i know that isn't proof.

I have also sat at the AC camp in OOT on P99, and never gotten anything else than eyes, the occasional seeweed and some research. I asked my guild, and people confirmed they had also never gotten any gems.
