I read the books after watching the first two seasons. I wonder how my feelings on casting would be had I read the books before seeing any of the show. I definitely pictured the actors as their characters while reading the books (though Dinklage is much too attractive to truly be Tyrion. He's supposed to be one ugly mofo, and not just a damn dwarf!)

dont forget Tywin Lannister and Syrio Forrell should be bald. and i HATE that they have Julius Caesar playing Mance. HATED last season Daario, glad he got swapped. and really can't stand the kids playing Mira and Jojen. but for the rest of them, A fucking + imo

I don't mind Tywin not being bald at all given how hard Charles Dance has absolutely crushed the role. His interactions with Arya in S2 were an absolute delight and will make me miss him when he's gone (though he absolutely deserves what he gets and I'm so damn excited to see it!)

Same with Syrio. His scenes with Arya were fantastic.

Apparently you just need to be in a scene with Masie Williams to be on the positive side of the ledger for me.

I didn't mind Syrio and Tywin not being bald. Other than that I completely agree with you on the rest. Particularly about Ciaran Hinds as Mance. It's just wrong. But let me say this, he was perfect as Julius Caesar in Rome. That show will always be on my list of favorite shows ever; I've even been watching it again on HBO on demand while I wait for season 4 Game of Thrones.

re-watched all 3 seasons in 4 days a week and a 1/2 ago .... and thank god i watched them because i forgot a lot of details leading up to the final episodes... i recommend anyone who is a fan to re-watch all 3 seasons .. you never know what you could of missed while you was watching them the first time ................................ P.S how do i get my wife to watch them... we have ZERO shows in common i cant get her to watch true detective or sons of anarchy or GoT .....

i love the show... i think its gotten better and better every season
