Are you blind? Every MMO was destroyed by RMT. Paying to be ahead is just that. Paying to be ahead. If everyone paid to be ahead we'd all be dead even doing nothing and acquiring nothing. Makes the game meaningless get it?

Lol, please, show me proof of these MMO's that were destroyed by RMT.

I work my ass off for my money, 60+ hours a week. When and if I find the time to play I still like to be competitive or a contender. In my eyes that's just the same as working my ass off in-game, except I am putting my time in to the REAL world. If I decide to spend some of my hard earned cash to help me get to the end of a game at a faster rate, so I can compete, then what's the big fucking deal?

This isn't Pay to Win, it's Pay to be able to play.

Huh? Buying plat makes you neither.

If you want to compete, join a real guild and compete. If you want to be a contender, play the actual game and contend.

You're just being dishonest with yourself. You bought pixels because for some reason you felt inferior without them. This is likely a trend which likely pervades your life outside Norrath, too.

I just want you to know: you're okay, just being you. <3

I understand that buying plat doesn't just instantaneously make you a contender, but it helps speed up the process of getting to that point. That is what I am trying to say.

Again, this is just delusional thinking.

Buying plat speeds up one thing: your exit from Project99.

There is no sum which can purchase glory. You either kill the dragon or you don't.

With risk there is reward. Didn't work out for me this time.

So... you want to be "a contender" but don't want to (or can't) put in the time/effort to get there? You think all those hours you spend at work should also count towards your EQ progress at home? You basically want to have your cake and eat it, too. This game was designed to be a TIME SINK. If you don't have the time, you won't get to the same point as someone who does. That's all there is to it. There are lots of people playing on this server who routinely put in 12+ hours per day to advance themselves -- why do you think you deserve the same results when you're unable to put in the same amount of work?
