People always join the server that has high population. It's just a human complex.

Just like if Red99 had 1000 people and Blue server had 50 people that all new people coming to Project1999 would join Red since that's where most people are.

If that were the case, to be honest I would likely have not started playing on p99 at all. While I do not mind PvP... I really can't say I ever want to be ganked.
