No what they say is ENTIRELY incorrect. A pet has the ability to break mez. It can hit a mob after its been mezzed, thereby removing the mez.
That means it DOES have the ability break mez.
Saying that they can't is ENTIRELY FALSE. Just because you can't send them on it, while they are already mezzed, does not mean they CANNOT break mez.
When you are a bard, triple mezzing. If you get ONE resist, it fucks your entire rotation and you are going to take a hit. DONT SEND YOUR PET ON IT IN THAT TWO SECONDS IT TAKES TO REMEZ THE TARGET.

Don't mez a target that has a pet on it before bitching out the pet class. bitch the pet class, get pet backed, then mez.
