This is pretty freaking annoying, I really hate /anon people in general, but what really grinds my gears is people who don't respond to a camp check.

Like the other day... I did a /who all gukbottom and like 5 people lower level were in there. I asked one of them to do a CC for me, and he responded, we are doing ass/sup and one other guy responded doing EE.

Well, I go yeah! lets go get frenzy or lord or something. So I run my ass all the way to guk and get there and do a /who (which shows anon people) however there were only 3 people in the zone all <40. When I did a CC, only EE was taken.

The rest of my group arrives shortly after me and by the time we get down to the safe hall before frenzy, someone else in the zone shouts CC.

Obviously we are heading to the frenzy camp so I reply "frenzy."

After shouting "Frenzy" a <nameless enchanter> throws a PMS bitch fit in shout that he is at that camp and we shouldn't call a camp we aren't at. (Mind you he hasn't responded to 3+ Camp checks or was even in the zone when I got there, and my group is in safe hall about to ivu to frenzy). He has a couple PMS's spread out by 10 minute breaks because he was probably masturbating to anime porn while afk camping frenzy.

It really wasn't a big deal since we took lord/am, but it would be nice if people either a) responded to camp checks, or b) didn't bleed all over gukbottom when someone mistakenly thinks the camp is open because they are too busy jacking it to anime porn to reply to a camp check.

Since you want to cry about this here where it doesn't belong, even though it was days ago, I feel the need to respond.

I was not anon. I had in my /afk message that I was camping frenz and playing MW2 between spawns. Is that against the rules? I did not see any camp checks, though I may have left the zone momentarily or switched out to my alt or something. If I had come back and people had been at Frenz, I would have accepted that and moved on. Instead, I came back and went /afk because I wanted to kill some more people in MW2. When it was time, I returned to keys and killed the placeholders that spawned. I saw a camp check and before I could respond you called the camp I was at.

I was quite annoyed, as I'm sure you would be, that someone called the camp I was at and had just cleared. No one else was around, no one messaged me, and as I said I didn't see a camp check until the one you responded to without being there.

When people call a camp they're not at, it really annoys me. If you're waiting for group members to show up, you are not fucking camping anything. You are waiting. This is arguable if you're sitting at the spawn waiting for a replacement, but not when your group hasn't begun yet and you're waiting at a safe spot in the zone.

For content that actually pertains to this thread: I actually posted this as a bug in the bug forum the day of the patch that it went in with a month or so ago. I was surprised no one but me had a problem with it, but apparently no one else realized it until now. I'm 99% certain /who all worked in classic, the way it did on this server, until that patch.

Edit: here's a link to the post I made in the bug forum: http://www.project1999.org/forums/showthread.php?t=1492

I didn't even mention your name in the post so funny that you respond. Maybe you haven't spent enough time playing a class that is completely dependable on groups, but it is extremely standard that if you have a group in a zone, no one responds to camp check, and you are actively moving to that camp, you reply to any CC with the camp you are heading to. In no way was it cool of you to throw the PMS bitch fit you did in /shout. A simple /tell to anyone in my group saying "im already here, sorry" would have sufficed and the issue would have been over.
