No one has ever tried my model for a raiding guild on red99 before. we've had seventy different iterations of the "we really fucking hate nihilum guild" and they have all fizzled out and failed. Therefore, I appreciate the words of advice and wisdom from team "we really fucking hate nihilum guild" version 71, but I think red dawn will let this one play out

So what is your recommend course of action? After azrael left our guild, we were left depleted, having lost many of the new blood we fostered to nihilum due to our alliance and merge with az. You would have us basically be neutral non factors, slowly bleeding members to Nihilum and Azrael as we do a couple of weekly planar clears. Instead, I have positioned my guild to compete for end game velious mobs. I worked hard to bring azrael and red dawn together, to provide the pve structure and new blood to the azrael crew that had been sorely lacking. I laid the foundation for a system that we could build upon and compete Nihilum not just in Kunark, but in velious. Instead, the short sighted leader of yours and his close elf sim advisor Salem, decided velious was too far off and distant to worry about planning around.

I attempted everything with lite and powered including reforming under a new tag etc. However, there were zero concessions, just the repeated preaching about a three guild server. I hate to be the one to break this to you but this will never be a three guild server. Velious will require 50+ people to kill mobs. Guilds unable to slay dragons will bleed members to guilds that can. I didn't put the time and effort into red dawn to see my guild die. No one in azrael seems to comprehend velious.

Azrael disbanded from RD. We already had the chance to do something you call moralistic or righteous. We already were fighting Nihilum.

Azrael players wouldn't move without the go ahead from Lite. I really could care less if you all quit.

If you can't play this game under any other leadership - especially when your guild lacks numbers and NEEDS alliances - you're worthless.

I really don't see how you guys imagined that situation differently. Lite and his boys literally said nothing to anybody about fracturing off from RD. You did it like snakes.

And now you want to still be friends after trying to take our members?

You act like Azrael reforming should have changed nothing between us. I really don't get that. You blindsided us and recruited from our player base WHILE trying to ally with us? And then what? Take mobs under a non DKP system, or a freshly wiped DKP system? Or just to take first dibs on mobs?

You act like Lite has 0 ulterior motive there, and yet we geared the fuck out of your players over the course of a few months. Whether or not that loot was earned, you guys left for Azrael to accumulate more/ because Lite has the ego the size of a planet and thinks he can lead better.

The alliance was already in place. Half (or more) of the members who left for Azrael didn't even want to split off in the first place.

The fact that Salem and Lite had enough influence on you cowards to ignore your spine and join Azrael with the alliance already built, and then come at us on the boards and call us spineless is fucking astonishing, bro.

Now that you know how we feel, I can lay it out for you pals. I'm glad you're all bored and on the verge of quitting. I hope you find the courage to do so. You've proven to us in technicolor that you're incapable of being under any other guild tag, and you've done it in the shittiest, most cowardly way possible.

I like a three guild server. I really do. But I also happen to dislike one of those guilds a great deal and don't want them to have any of the raid mobs because of the shitty things they're all responsible for (and should be responsible for).

You guys can continue logging in and run this thing to its logical conclusions. We have no interest in Azrael as of right now. A lot of you are good people, helpful players, good PvPers. But right now, it's just not going to happen. The opposite is, in fact, as you've witnessed.

I know it's difficult for you to understand why we aren't bothered when you say "18vs 82 omg faggots." Frankly, it's because none of us care. The initial cowardly things you did to Red Dawn usurp any hatred/ appeal to morality you can possibly throw at us. The fact that Brobb or Jibeknn don't see or care about the shitty way that Azrael bolted is hilarious. They honestly just lack imagination (or maybe just have too much of it). The reason we're doing this far simpler than you or they think. We don't like you.

How much of that bullshit was fed to you? Its pretty hilarious. Considering "Azrael sniping members" was maybe 3-4 Azrael that tagged RD when the alliance went down. I wore an Azrael tag from when it started, til the day it ended, as many others also did.

And please tell us what members that were RD beforehand, that we took from Azrael besides the handful that originally left; Stoopy, Brobb, Jibeknn and Brokab. Can you name any others? I didn't know 4 people could shatter a whole guild.

It's true ask any RD member. I had my alt bard tagged RD for about a week, then made my own alt guild.

I am not defending anyone, simply pointing out facts. Lite makes questionable calls, but not everyone can be on-point 100% of the time. But I guess I was one of the few who didn't know HB's full story but I could smell his bullshit from a mile away. I don't discredit him for the work he has put into new players when the turnover rate on this server is pretty high, but I have played and picked with peoples minds enough to realize he had an ulterior motive from the get-go. Especially when he cried wolf when anyone left RD, even if it was to just go Han Solo.

finer points aside, it really boils down to: no one wants to work with lite at the helm of anything. not out of selfishness or because they have bigger egos, but because he's terrible at it and makes terrible decisions consistently that crush morale and make people want to quit (hence running joke Azrael 16.0). this was made perfectly clear from the beginning. if it were anyone else, sure.

Lite's a nice guy, but if we're being forthright: Nizzar is a better tactician. Lite doesn't even spot the moves he himself makes. He might have more talent than Nizzar in the PvP game, but he's a pitbull. He's a Gongshow.

the problem with Azrael is that they're just an amalgamation of pitbulls with no tactician, or a guild that simply doesn't give voice to those people. Lite HAS to lead, and you follow.

i know this because i've been in Azrael twice. Colgate and Andis can even tell you that. for obvious reasons, they spare the boards those opinions. plenty of you know better than him. you just give all executive order to him.
