So he lacks a phone to browse the forum? Besides its not as if the gifs will be registering with whatever program they use to log he webpage visits. It's only an issue if he or she is dumb enough to browse the forums in front of other people.

It took just 20 minutes for the first "do your work at work" response in this thread, and yours -- which came 5 days and nearly 200 posts later -- is just as unimpressive. Just save yourself the embarrassment and stop defending it.

I am pleased to see that at least someone else, Tomtee in this case, feels the way that I do about the sig and avatar situation here. I learned to stop displaying avatars and pictures in posts a long time ago, and it's a much more pleasant way to browse the forums, whether at work or at home. I thought about making a similar thread at one point, but the reaction is too predictable: The desire for the average male to put some scantily clad woman in his avatar like a 13 year old boy posting on a forum in 2002 is often too strong to resist.
