I understand people will pile on the hate (knowingly or unknowingly) against us. IB for better or worse is the top guild on the server. People will write just about anything against anybody at the top. This is what people do. Rants and Flames was designed to be the venting area so I try not to take things written here too seriously. Having said all of that, I'm sick and tired of reading crap about cheaters. Sure, call us douchebags, bending the rules etc... but that's what being competitive is about. If you think IB is the worst thing that can happen to p99, you've never in your life experienced competition in an mmo. This is why they've made games like WoW where instances will solve all of your emotional needs.
We're not better or worse than any dedicated raiding guild. Just like any other guilds we have members who are super cool to hang with, some that are anti-social, some that are downright creepy. We are however dedicated on raiding as a whole. Not the I'll half ass shit and try to get the same rewards raiding that permeates p99.
Yet from the moment I got my tag ages ago, I've personally only witnessed "3" incidents that falls under that category.
First, Tiki was accused of using MQ then got banned for it. Is it true? Who knows, that was what I was told. Kind of a shame really, cause I liked Tiki but the guild moved on. It may or may not have been fair to Tiki but he was dealt with instantly the moment someone found out about it. Tiki is no longer a member of IB and hasn't been since we were still killing phinny every 12 hour on the clock. Meaning if he is the proof IB uses MQ it's pretty fucking weak. What you should say in your propaganda is "I know for a fact that certain members of IB were accused of cheating but that shit was 7+months ago and nobody else seems to be cheating atm".
Second, Raren who I barely know (since I came back from a break), and who lasted what 3 days? He was accused of duping items? Got the boot immediately either from a failed app or the accusation of duping items. He was never one of us, and the moment people accused him of duping he got dealt with immediately (unlike some other sketchy guild who milked his duping ability to share god loot). This was also some time ago.
Third, Jeremy who was in IB briefly got accused of 2 boxing. He also got removed promptly, and is now back in Transcendance.
Do you see a trend here? IB detests cheaters, we will rat each other out if we find someone is cheating. We might push the spirit of the law (of raiding) at times but never actually break them. We do not crash zones, dupe items, grief on purpose etc... Of course coming from an IB member you'll think I am obviously lying. There's no way to truly understand until you apply and run with us for a while. So to sum it up, to my knowledge there isn't any "current" cheaters (if they even cheated). Any time we've encountered a bad apple it was dealt with immediately. Believe it or not we have integrity, a lot more than half of you hypocrites out there.
So for the last time, if you have proof that a current member of IB is cheating please let us know. No REALLY please let us know so we can deal with it immediately. So until you got concrete proof that so and so is cheating etc.. kindly shut the fuck up and stick to crying about mobs you don't get to kill.

Like ive said before there are a couple people i know that use it because they came in mumble with me i emailed them ShowEQ and they set it up and they were like WHOA dude this is showeq and im like yeah dude its pretty sweet huh and they said YEAH DUDE
