Game Mechanics: Full hp/mana on ding

Leveling hasn't restored mana or health... Ever on EQ. Didn't in classic, doesn't on Live now.

It only did unclassicly on this server for a year or two. Someone mixed up Diablo2 and EverQuest apparently.

No. I'm definite on at least full mana on a ding brotha.

Why on earth would I have any kind of memory of dinging mid fight and being able to finish the fight when otherwise I could not as a lowbie?

Sorry, that is incorrect. Dinging did give you full health and mana at least during the Kunark era. I remember an SOE rep, probably a developer, say that it was not intentional and was a side effect of increasing maximum hit points and mana.

Also, I have never played Diablo, and started this server last year. The other players that came to this server with me were also surprised the restore was not here. Nirgon is not imagining it, it did occur.

(not that it is a huge deal, just saying it was in during the 2000 Kunark era when I started)
