just my opinion but baseball isthe most boring sport to watch. now baseketball thats something i could get behind
Basketball / Hockey / Soccer definitely have more action per minute. Football games supposedly have less than 11 minutes of actual action per game, but I still love them. Baseball games can tend to drag on, so I wouldn't begrudge anyone for not liking them. Baseball is as good as it gets for me, though.

Why is curling an Olympic sport? I used to think it was tongue in cheek but some people take it seriously.

I think golf is the ultimate sport as there's minimal advantage to being 7 feet tall or a well-built 300 pound fella. The sport is 99% technique and it's not something you have to quit when you're 40 or whatever because your body can't handle it.

It's also a great opportunity to burn one and put down a few brews =)

Oh, wait, we're talking about spectating sports again. Yeah - you guys suck.

I disagree. Taller people can use longer shafts without decreasing accuracy. Minimal advantage? I dunno. I consider an extra 20-30 yards off the tee a huge advantage because that means shorter irons and more accuracy/ball height/spin on the approach shot.

A lot of people underestimate driver but it affects all aspects of the game in the long run.

You assume too much. It IS tougher to maintain accuracy with a longer club. Faster swings or swings with larger arcs require a greater amount of control and timing. Furthermore, whatever you have to gain by hitting the ball a little further, in almost every situation, you'd be better off having improved placement as opposed to slightly longer distance.

Why didn't John Daly win more?

I don't think it's that tough to get a few extra yards in a situation where it would really help - most of the time I'm swinging about 80-85% anyways.

A 2 inch putt scores the same as a 350 yard drive.
