I sure as hell don't want to instigate this entire issue and would rather leave it buried but I find it interesting that so many people can give their psychoanalysis and personal opinion on something (and someone) when they may not know all the details of the situation.

In no way am I saying Toga was right but after being presented with the true appearance of the scenario and inevitable outcome from his guild he chose to do the right thing - definitely speaks to the power of positive guild influence and reputation in the community. Even if the post had not been started I'd like to think (going the rarely trodden opportunistic path here unlike so many others) that he would have come to his senses and done the right thing.

Now consequences have been issued and the victim got his items back. Both sides have lessons to be learned here...

The most important being don't trust a hobbit with shiny things. (kidding of course)
