Right there with ya man. I just started myself - first time on red. Afaik one guild has basically monopolized all raid content for 2 years because they kill all raid mobs at 5 am est. This doesn't really bother me. There's a nice xp bonus, less competition for stuff, and if I get to endgame I have a shot at killing stuff with a guild that's not on some spreadsheet. The prospect of fightin other people with a lot of friends is awesome. But I just started and am not jaded yet
