Not if it uses the logs to record someone's /loc and places it on the corresponding map.
I'd use this program. Would work definitely use it if you could manually put a loc in the map so that you can find your way to it.

GMs slew maps, I can't imagine this being allowed.

It would only update when you /loc'd in-game if that was how it worked. Interesting idea nonetheless.
