If it is weekly or bi-monthly it may add enough raid targets that Nihilum will A) not be able to keep up with all of them/care as much hopefully and B) A second or potentially third guild could try to snipe raid targets with more of them available(RD/Nihi fighting etc)
Different raid timers, not stuck at 9am where it favors the jobless, there are no bad reasons other than it lessens control of pixels, and leverage from those control of pixels.
This has nothing to do with guilds hating each other, and more with it threatening power and control, over an EMU box of 100 people, from sick individuals.
