I had something like this happen a while back, no one could figure it out so I ended up not playing 99 anymore. A while after that, my pc was getting ragged out so I decided to reinstall the OS - not a full HDD wipe, just reinstall the OS over itself. Low and behold, I was able to play 99 again after the OS reinstall.
